For persistent stains, try using non-abrasive cleaners such as dishwashing liquid, bleach, etc. Avoid using strong alkalis such as ammonia and other chemicals that help unclog drains. To remove rust caused by iron ions contained in water and cooking utensils, use an oxalic acid-based cleaner. Do not use bleach directly on granite.

Sealing helps prevent the stone from absorbing liquids, but acidic liquids such as orange juice, lemons, soda, various foods, household cleaners, etc. can corrode the stone. Based on this, do not use acidic cleaners on marble. Wet glasses with weak acid liquids can also cause hard water stains. To avoid water spots, rinse and dry the sink after each use. Limestone is regularly sealed with a penetrating sealant to prevent staining, especially when in contact with acids.

A mild detergent should be used, with a damp cloth or sponge. Soapstone sinks should be protected with mineral oil once a month.

2) Wet the stone surface with distilled water. Helps prevent the chemical from drying too quickly, extending the time it stays in contact with the stain.
3) Prepare the plaster. Using a plaster is to suck out the stains in the stone. A simple plaster can be made at home, a cup of flour, a few tablespoons of liquid detergent, the two are mixed and stirred to form a plaster, which is environmentally friendly and energy-saving. Chemical plasters are also available. In case of red wine stains, use plaster instead of cleaner.
4) Place the plaster on the stain, cover it with plastic wrap, tape the edges, and let it sit for 24 hours.
5) Remove the plastic film after 24 hours. Let the plaster continue to dry. This step is very important to suck out the stain after drying. The plaster can be scraped off with a razor blade or putty knife. Wash the residue with water and a mild detergent.
